Job: TownPost Community Manager

Looking for a detail-oriented individual to serve as a Content Moderator / Community Manager. Here's what the role will involve:

- Help block scammers / spammers.
- Help improve the quality of ads on the platform. This includes categorizing ads, suggesting edits to the sellers of the ads, and removing spam ads.
- Handle customer support requests (via email, platform chat, and on the phone) in a timely manner.
- Assist in platform promotion as needed

The work will be part time (15-20 hours per week - with the potential to expand these hours as needs grow) and can be done from home.

Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills - you'll need to be able to learn quickly how to use the administrative tools that keep the TownPost platform running.
- A reliable high speed internet connection.
- Regular availability throughout the daytime 7 days / week. (You will need to be able to work for short bursts on a regular basis throughout the day)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Being an existing / long-time TownPost user is a plus!
- Expertise in our core content areas is also a plus
